August 11, 2017: Tucson Nurse Faces New Charges              

 (07:50) Santa Cruz County – An Arizona nurse accused of child sex abuse, involving a Santa Cruz Neurosurgeon and a Wastonville nurse, faces two new charges.   30 year-old Emily Stephens faces two new charges of copulation or penetration with a child younger than 10.    The charges were filed in Santa Cruz and stem from still images taken from a video.   Stephens remains at Pima County Jail in Tucson, Arizona, without bail.    57 year-old Dr. James Kohut, is a codefendant of Stephens, and faces eleven felonies linked to raping children.   43 year-old Rashel Brandon, the third defendant in the child rape case, faces eight felonies.    Brandon and Kohut are scheduled to be back in court at 8:15 a.m. on September 6, in Santa Cruz County Superior Court.
