Raspberry workers voted today to be represented by the U.F.W. The vote was 269 for the U.F.W, and 236 for “no union”. Watsonville-based Premiere Raspberries LLC employs more than 500 people. Once the election results are certified by the California Agricultural Labor Relations Board, the Premiere Raspberries bargaining unit is expected to begin contract negotiations.
