Senior citizens , and disabled residents, can now put in applications to get on housing-waitlists for 3 apartment complexes, while a 4th is only for people age 62 and older. Applicants cannot make more than 50 percent of the Monterey county median income….which is $28,500 dollars a year for a single person. People who move into one of these apartments will pay 30 percent of their annual income.
