Warning signs  have  been  posted  at  Monterey  Municipal  Beach.  That’s  because  of  high  bacteria  counts  there.   The  warning  signs  are  expected  to  remain  posted  until  the  bacteria  levels  return  to  those  that are  safe  for  human  contact.
