A local community college has been given money to put together a maker-space community. With the $350,000, Cabrillo College is expected to be able to expand it’s current Art Department “Fab Lab”, so that students will be able to learn to use Digital Fabrication Tools. The new, 2800 square-foot lab space, is expected to open this Fall.
