(10:00) Firefighters reported, that as of this morning, the Park fire burning at the border of Fresno and Monterey Counties, is 99 percent contained. Firefighters are on patrol status and doing repair work to the area. The wildfire started around 1:15 p.m. on July 17th, at Parkfield Road and Highway 198. The fire burned 1,649 acres of brush, and is no longer threatening any structures. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
