AgWorker Pesticide Study-7/27/17-1608-PMD

The results of a study performed last summer on the effects of pesticide exposure on Salinas Valley residents are under preliminary review. The study used gps data and chemical sensitive bracelets to monitor the activity of 100 Latina teens. Preliminary results say the group was exposed to a total of 69 different chemicals. It also showed dwellings with doormats led to less pesticide exposure.
