(06:55) Watsonville – During a probation search at a motel officers arrested a man in possession of a loaded revolver. The incident took place at 6:00 last night at a room at National 9 Motel in Watsonville. The room was occupied by 36 year-old Jesus Melgoza. During the search, Officers located a loaded revolver with its serial number defaced. Melgoza was arrested and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail for being a felon in possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.
