(08:00) Santa Cruz – A man is hospitalized after being shot Sunday morning. The incident took place just after 2 a.m. on the 700 block of Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz. Witnesses reported they saw a man shoot another man in the neck. The 33 year-old victim was transported to the hospital by a bystander. Officers say the victim was uncooperative, intoxicated, and refused to provide law enforcement with any suspect description. Investigating officers recovered a .22 caliber casing at the initial crime scene on Pacific Avenue. Currently, there is no suspect information on the shooting.
