(09:50) Santa Cruz – The California Arts Council announced an award of $135,000 to Arts Council Santa Cruz County for Ebb & Flow 2017 and 2018 as part of its Creative California Communities program. The National Endowment for the Arts also announced a grant of $25,000 for the Arts Council to re-grant to Santa Cruz County artists and arts organizations. The Ebb & Flow Project benefits residents and visitors by working with area artists, arts organizations, environmental groups, non-profit organizations, city and county agencies to address a community priority: the health of the San Lorenzo River, the Riverwalk and the Tannery Arts Center.
