(08:15) Congressman Jimmy Panetta, released the following statement after several people were shot this morning in Alexandria, Virginia at a baseball practice for this week’s charity congressional baseball game: “My thoughts and prayers are with my Republican colleagues and the Capitol police officers who were shot this morning while at a practice for our charity baseball game. We stand together against this senseless attack.” Congressman Panetta does play on the Democratic team, and was at practice at a different facility this morning.
