An officer-involved shooting took place in Salinas this afternoon, after a man led law enforcement officers on a high speed chase, and then tried to back his vehicle into a police commander. The vehicle pursuit took place in South Salinas, and ended near Davis Road and Victory Way. The injured man was treated at the scene, and then transported to an area hospital.
