(16:54)CAPITOLA- A group of suspected serial lingerie thieves were arrested following a high speed chase yesterday (Mon). Shortly after 11:30 a.m. Capitola police attempted to stop a vehicle associated with a series of shoplifting thefts, that involved four women using foil lined bags to circumvent door sensors at Victoria Secret stores in Capitola and Monterey. The vehicle sped off and a high speed chase ensued but was called off for public safety concerns. The car was spotted on Highway 17 near Scotts Valley and pulled over at gunpoint. Two adult, and two juvenile women were taken into custody.
