(07:15) Salinas – Authorities reported that two people were shot and killed last night in Salinas. The incident took place at 8:25 p.m. on the 1300 Block of Garner Avenue. 41-year-old Emilio Barrera and 28-year-old Antonio Ortega were found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene. These are the 17th and 18th homicides of the year and are being investigated as gang related.
