(18:27) SALINAS- The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office arrested four people in connection with a jail smuggling operation. The arrests came following an investigation launched last month after methamphetamine was found in the jail. Investigators determined the drugs were being mailed into the facility Search warrants were served Wednesday at three locations on Garner and Mae Avenues in Salinas. Police seized weapons and two pounds of meth and pot. 36 year old Michael Meza, 27 year old Gregorio Solis, 28 year old Luz Solis, and 34 year old Sergio Ruiz were arrested and booked into county jail.
