A 30-day extension has been granted so a warming center in Salinas can remain open for a while longer. The shelter has always been designed to be a short-term solution, for a long-term need. The extension was granted by board members of the Transportation Agency Of Monterey County, which owns the property where the shelter is located….which is at 20 West Market Street.
