(18:49) WATSONVILLE- Mosquito Abatement and Vector Control agencies across the Central Coast are gearing up for Mosquito season.  Record setting rainy weather over the winter may lead to large populations of mosquitoes this year. Santa Cruz County Mosquito Abatement and Vector Control is currently working to control breeding areas in the 800 acres of sloughs in the south county. Residents are advised to eliminate sources of standing water.  Last year, there were five confirmed cases of West Nile virus cases in Santa Cruz County,
