(17:05) SANTA CRUZ- The City of Santa Cruz is in the process of assessing the effects of recent storms on the lower San Lorenzo River. City officials have hired a drone company to get an aerial perspective of the river bottom between Highway 1 and the trestle near the river mouth. Following an assessment of drone video footage officials will determine the next course of action for the river.
