(08:45) Santa Cruz – The UC Santa Cruz Police Department announced there will be an increase in law enforcement on campus tomorrow. An unsanctioned gathering known as 4-20 is expected to take place throughout the day and may create traffic disruptions and hazards. There will be an increase in law enforcement looking for individuals in violation of the law, including the possession of and/or using marijuana and alcohol or other drugs; and will enforce unpermitted vending of any merchandise, food, or medical marijuana on the campus. The Santa Cruz Area CHP will be conducting a DUI checkpoint near the west side of the campus.
