A boy was rushed to the hospital this afternoon, after he was swept out to sea from a Carmel beach. The boy had been playing with his father at Monastery Beach when an 8-12 foot tall wave knocked him down, and pulled him about 100 yards off-shore. 2 men were able to get him back to shore, where they administered C-P-R.
