A new trail, created by volunteers and state employees, now links those living south of the now-demolished Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge, with areas north of the bridge. The switch-back-styled trail, which runs down through the canyon….and connects to an existing trail in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, provides limited access for the Big Sur Residents who have been trapped between the damaged bridge to the north, and a slide near Ragged Point (to the south).
