(08:00) Santa Cruz County – Santa Cruz County Caltrans is starting road work repairs on Highway 236 this Monday. The 5 day road closure will be on Highway 236, near Boulder Creek. Caltrans will repair a slip-out just south of the Junction of Highway 9/Route 236. This section of highway will be fully closed Monday, March 27 through Friday, March 31 to facilitate Caltrans working 24 hours a day at this location. Motorists who chose to use the southbound Highway 236 detour can expect 45 minute delays Caltrans reminds motorists to move over or slow down when driving through Caltrans work zones.
