(17:53) SALINAS- Salinas police have arrested a man suspected in a fatal DUI hit and run. The incident took place yesterday (Thurs) at 2:40 a.m. on the 500 block of Work Street where 38 year old William Crabbe and 27 year old Aliso Castro were walking on a sidewalk when a Bronco veered onto the walkway stiking the pedestrians. Crabbe was pronounced dead at the scene, and Castro was hospitalized. Investigators located the Bronco at 5:30 a.m. and 24 Jamie Garcia was arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail for murder, vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license while on probation for DUI, hit-and-run causing death, and DUI.
