Although the recent rain doesn’t appear to have done lots more damage to area roads, it has slowed down work on the hiking trail through the canyon below the now demolished Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge. The switch-back-styled trail, which will take about 30 minutes to traverse once it’s complete, starts as part of the pine ridge trail at Big Sur Station, and then splits of near the bridge. Work began on this trail March 9th.
