(09:10) Santa Cruz – Three people died in a collision yesterday while traveling on Highway 101. The accident happened just before 4:30 p.m., north of Wilder. California Highway Patrol reported that two Santa Cruz residents traveling south, crossed over the double yellow lines into the northbound lane, and collided with another vehicle. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene and the two drivers’ later succumbed to their injuries. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
