(10:50) Santa Cruz – A local nonprofit was awarded over $32,000 from the Santa Cruz Vice Mayor David Terrazas yesterday. Funds were collected for Hope Services from December 18th through 25th, in the third annual Parking for Hope downtown holiday parking program. The usual parking rates applied, however, the proceeds from street meters during these eight days were designated for donation to Hope Services, a Santa Cruz nonprofit that provides training and support services to adults with developmental disabilities.
