Many residents of Monterey county turned out for this afternoon’s Monterey County Board Of Supervisors’ meeting in Salinas. The agenda issue they were there for is a proposal for Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties to work together on providing power to Tri-county residents. Many attendees asked supervisors to say yes to the project, while a few wanted supervisors to watch Monterey Bay Community Power, and see how things go, and a few speakers were actively opposed to the plan.
