(10:30) Santa Cruz County – A mudslide brought down a telephone pole causing Highway 17 to close in both directions this morning. The area affected is between the summit and Scotts Valley. Currently both lanes going Northbound are closed and one lane on the southbound side has been reopened. Just after 7:30 this morning Caltrans reported highway 9 was also closed due to a mudslide. Authorities are warning motorists driving campers and pulling trailers to stay off the roadways in areas with a high wind advisory.
