(07:50) Monterey – The Salvation Army has reported that they are experiencing a decrease in donations. The Salvation Army Monterey Peninsula Corps reported that donations are down 5-thousand dollars from this time last year. The organization raised $83,000 dollars last year and this year the goal is to raise $100,000. The Red Kettle Campaign is the Salvation Army’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The money raised will be used for housing services, homeless services, domestic violence services, meals for those in need, and child care.
