(11:38) SANTA CRUZ- A boat caught fire at the Santa Cruz Harbor before the Lighted Boat Parade was set to begin on Saturday. At about 4:30 p.m. a fire broke out aboard a sailboat docked in the south harbor. Good Samaritans worked to control the blaze until firefighters arrived to extinguish the fire. Fire crews remained at the scene to monitor the site throughout the duration of the lighted boat parade. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
