(18:25) WATSONVILLE- Work crews breached a sand bar on the Pajaro River yesterday (Thursday). Workers used heavy equipment to remove the sand bar at the river mouth near The Pajaro Dunes development. The procedure is performed annually to prevent flooding to agricultural fields and low eying housing.
