(09:30) Santa Cruz – A winter shelter will be opening tomorrow in Santa Cruz. The shelter is located on 7th avenue and will provide beds and meals for up 100 people per night. The shelter will not take walk-in guests and will require people to go through an intake process at a city gravel lot. Guests can register, and will be picked up and dropped off at 1220 River Street. The line will start at 4 p.m., drop off will be between 5-6 p.m., dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the return of guests will be at 7 a.m. The shelter will open tomorrow and run thorough April 8th.
