November 23, 2016: Two Suspects Go to Court

(09:30) Santa Cruz – Two of the four suspects involved in selling a 15 year-old boy LSD will be arranged today.  Officers reported that 15 year-old, Luke Smith, was high on LSD when he stabbed two of his family members last Saturday.  Officer’s efforts to try and attain Smith were unsuccessful and he was shot and killed after he advanced officers with a wielding knife.  24 year-old Bradley Allen Hodge II, and 28 year-old Taylor Filson, will be arranged in Santa Cruz Superior Court in connection with running a drug lab and selling LSD to Smith.  A third suspect, 20 year old Thomas Negron, is currently in custody in Georgia for unrelated charges.  The fourth suspect, 28 year- old Nathaniel Trecaso, is being treated in a hospital and is reported to be semi-conscious.  Trecaso faces charges of selling a controlled substance to a minor.
