(07:35) Salinas – Multiple robberies took place on Saturday in Salinas. A man was held a gun point on East Market Street. A few blocks away the Mariscos Costa Azul Restaurant was also robbed. On the same night Another robbery took place at the Uprising Smoke Shop on North Main Street and two men were held at gunpoint while they were walking on San Benito Street. The Salinas Police would like to remind the public that there tends to be an increase in robberies and burglaries during the holiday season. Police recommend not leaving Christmas presents visible in your car and to lock them in your trunk. Anyone with information on these robberies is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
