October 28, 2016: Jury Finds Woman Guilty of DUI

(10:20) Monterey – A woman who was arrested earlier this year for driving under the influence and without a license went before a jury to claim that a stranger is responsible for her DUI.  During her trial 33 year-old Diana BARBA, OF Salinas, claimed a stranger entreated her vehicle and left a six pack of beer behind after she requested for him to leave.  The experience left her terrified and she spent the next three hours driving a drinking the mans beer.  Barba was found parked in the California State University Monterey Bay campuses parking lot by campus police.  Her blood alcohol content was over twice the legal limit.  The jury found Barba guilty and was sentenced to twenty days in jail and placed on probation for five years.
