(08:55) Monterey County – The health advisory for rock crabs and bivalve shellfish has been lifted by the California Department of Public Health. The advisory was put into place in August for the Monterey Bay and portions of Half Moon Bay due to the traces of domoic acid. Recent tests show that the domoic acid has declined to low or undetectable levels. For updated information about shellfish poisoning and quarantines call 1800-553-4133.
