BIG SUR – Although parts of the Santa Cruz mountains reportedly received 10 inches of rain over the weekend, the Soberanes Fire (burning in the Big Sur area) is still smoldering. Firefighters have that wildfire fully contained, and are working to mitigate the potential for landslides in the burn areas.
