The Santa Cruz City Council has voted to have city staff (and the homeless coordinating committee) investigate where Tiny Houses (on wheels) could be put together to create a Tiny House Village. City council members also plan to work to begin integrating 2 recently passed state bills (related to tiny houses). Those bills are SB-1069 and AB-2406. The Santa Cruz City Planning Director said that Tiny Houses range from 80 square feet to 400-plus square feet in size.
