A 30 year-old man has been sentenced to spend 8 months in jail for his part in an illegal marijuana grow in San Benito County. That after more than 3,300 marijuana plants were found along Silver Creek, near Panoche Road. Investigators also found oil, gasoline, and other potentially harmful substances, along the creek (near the grow site that was in an environmentally sensitive habitat (of an endangered species, which Emmanuel Jiminez Rivera killed).
