(18:29) SANTA CRUZ- A 28 year old Santa Cruz man was transported to a bay area trauma center after being stuck by a car Wednesday night. Authorities say that the incident took place at Highway 1 and River Street shortly before 11 p.m. A preliminary investigation determined the pedestrian had darted into traffic. The driver of the car involved was cooperative with police and at this time has not been cited.
