(noon) Monterey – In a ceremony that was held yesterday (Tuesday) the Monterey Bay Veterans dedicated a dive boat to disabled veterans. The custom dive boat is named Freedom. The boat has a platform that was created to operate like an elevator which provides disabled veterans easier access to get in and out of the water. The Monterey Bay Veterans can provide scuba diving lessons at Cal State Monterey Bay’s aquatic facility for those wish to learn how to dive.
