(06:30) Santa Cruz – Police have reported that a woman was stabbed to death in Santa Cruz. The incident took place on Monday morning about 5 a.m. on Front Street in an apartment building. 66-year old Shannon Magner, of Aptos, was stabbed in the back of her neck. Police are investigating the incident as a homicide and are currently withholding the name of the possible suspect until a warrant has been issued. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Santa Cruz Police Department.
