(10:51) SANTA CRUZ- Santa Cruz County has hired a Cannabis Licensing Manager. On Friday, county officials announced that Daniel Peterson was hired out of over 180 applicants for the new position that will oversee the cannabis regulatory system. Peterson has of management experience in a regulatory environment positions including developing water management and pollution-related policies and regulations for Caltrans. He has also held positions with the Water Resources Branch in Sutter County and in Yuba County.
