(11:00) Salinas – A non-profit donated thousands of dollars to the Salinas Pal (Police Activities League). The HEROES of Monterey County presented a $20,000 dollar check to the organization PAL yesterday (Thursday). HEROES raised the money at a BBQ that was sponsored by Tanimura and Antle. The Salinas Police Activities League provides free programs, events and activities for youth. The money donated will be used to purchase tables and chairs for the Salinas Armory building in downtown SALINAS.
