September 22, 2016: Salinas Woman Convicted of Voter Fraud

(19:34) SALINAS- A Monterey County judge sentenced a Salinas woman to 40 days in jail for election fraud yesterday (Thurs).  Maria C. Del Toro pled guilty to filing false or fraudulent signatures with the Monterey County Election Department after  investigators found a number of signatures gathered by Del Toro didn’t match signatures on file with the Election Department. Del Toro was also ordered to probation and to repay the 1900 dollars she was paid to obtain the signatures.
