(08:30) Santa Cruz – The Santa Cruz Police Department is asking the public to fill out a survey. The survey is meant to give officers a better idea of the issues that our occurring in our community. The information gathered will help officers know where to focus their efforts and design strategies to tackle certain issues. The survey will be available for Santa Cruz County residents to fill out until December 21, 2016. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and can be found online at SurveyMonkey.com/r/SCPDSURVEY or at the police department located at 155 Center Street. The results will be released to the public in 2017.
