(08:00) Pacific Grove – A tree fell down across power lines yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon and sparked a grass fire on the eastbound side of Highway 68, near Pacific Grove. Power was out along the Holman Highway for about 6-thousand P.G. & E. customers. Most of the customers had their power restored by 5 p.m. yesterday. Highway 68 was closed to through traffic (between Presidio and Skyline Forest) so that P.G. & E. workers could restore power to the final 500 customers. California Highway Patrol reported this morning that Highway 68 has been reopened.
