August 24, 2016: Hiker Rescued In Closed Big Sur Park

(17:36) BIG SUR – A  hiker  who  went  into  Julia  Pfeiffer  Burns  State  Park  had  to  be  rescued,   after  he  got stuck  while  trying  to  climb  down  a  200-foot  cliff  to  the  beach.   Rescuers  used  a  rope  and  harness  to  pull  him  back  up  to  the  top  of the cliff,  and  then   he  was  cited  for  going  into  a closed  state  park.    The  park  is  still  closed  due  to  the  more-than-88,000-acre  Soberanes  Fire.
