(11:00) San Jose – A pregnant women died Wednesday from injuries she sustained in a car crash, but her baby survived. 18- year-old Dulce Araceli Capetillo Hernandez (of San Jose) was the passenger in a vehicle that swerved off the road of Highway 101 and crashed into a parked car near Tully Road. Hernandez reported of only having leg pain at the scene. After she was transported to the hospital, further injuries were found and Hernandez was pronounced dead soon after. Her baby was born and is currently in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle, A 20-year-old man, was reported to have minor injuries and that he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Police are continuing to investigate why he swerved off the road. The driver of the parked vehicle, 22-year-old Hung Ton Duy Tran, was intoxicated and arrested.
