(14:46) SALINAS – The Big Sur Land Trust is working to purchase a portion of Carr Lake in Salinas, so it will be preserved. The 73-acre parcel, currently owned by the Ikeda family, will cost the trust a bit less than 4.2 million dollars….and they have received donations that total nearly 4.1 million dollars so far. They hope to be able to complete the purchase by the end of this year.
